Julia is the Senior Director, Corporate Relations and Policy at Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. She has 14 years of experience in the electricity sector in both the public and private side of the industry. At Innergex, Julia’s team is responsible for community, Indigenous and local government relations, as well as the policy and regulatory practice across Canada and the USA. Her passion for renewable energy is driven by her personal commitment to being part of the solution to climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as being part of the solution to social inequity. Julia has a Bachelor of Arts in political science and philosophy, a post graduate diploma in conflict resolution and a Master of Arts in disaster and emergency management. She grateful to live, work and play on the traditional and unceded territory of Coast Salish peoples.
